If I had the funds, I'd be on my way with 11k to make a deal. Either way a good price. Owner said he is the second owner and has owned it since 06. Original owner was in Louisiana. This guy just used it 10-15 times a year at his mountain house in minturn. Someone buy it and ill take it off your hands in 6 months.

He is saying he converted before the drive train wag worn unlike all the others that are converted after 200+k. I agree could have been a nice car but He had it posted a year ago and I think then he said he rolled it.

That makes sense, I think in everyone there's the fantasy that if you ever roll your truck, you'd consider chopping it up into something else... it's a tempting rig though, IMO perfect starting point for a 45/60 body swap.

I emailed the FJ40 guy. Were looking for another one and it looks neat and possibly complete.

It's either gonna be a 40 or a bug for the next car.

That might be the most interesting method of combating hood rattle I've seen. My hood pins are worn out too, so major rattles there on mine. Or do you think it was to keep the hood on due to the go-fast starsky and hutch stripe?
