Yes, it was flagged... And I don't know why. Definitely a real ad, and a Colorado vehicle. Maybe someone just couldn't believe that there's a 1985 Landcruiser out there that is that clean and awesome and amazing. Well, lucky for me I was able to repost it and the flagger(s) left me alone. Oh yes, if you haven't guessed by now.... the cruiser is mine. Here is the new link. http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/2157525205.html
By the way, I am happy to answer any questions you guys/girls might have about my FJ60.... Thanks!

Love it! You have a beautiful truck. The first cruiser I ever drove was a super clean white FJ60, and I have always loved them. Has it been repainted? If so, was it originally white also, or a different color? I'm assuming it is the original 4 speed, is that correct? Also, if you don't mind my asking, why are you selling?
Thanks,
Abe

Thanks! It is a great truck. It's about 95% original paint. Had to fix a few spots on the lower rocker panel and thats it. NO BONDO. It is the original 4 speed and in fact is completely stock. My brother and I were selling to fund another project of ours. We hate to see it go but it has found a new good home. We sold it today. I had many calls from all over the country and from out of the country as well, but it gets to stay in Colorado!
Thanks for all the comments!

How long did you own it? Just curious because I recall a white 60 with 158K with some rust selling on Craigslist for about $3000 a month or two ago.

Combine with the one above and you'd have a complete FJ60 for $1650...

Paging Uncle Ben :D

Seems pricey but I can't remember what they cost new...Not to mention they are made of unobtanium so maybe not a bad price.

Seems WAY expensive to me for an item that hasn't been made since 2000 and you wouldn't be able to find replacement parts for. I would also wonder if the vinyl windows have dried out and gotten brittle even though the box is unopened.

You can buy a new Bestop Super Top with full parts support for less than that.

Exactly, and the m416 can be had for about 1/2 that price if your persistent and quick when they pop up!

***1973 FJ-40 Landcruiser-ALL ORIGINAL** - $5000 (Centennial)

All original, non-molested FJ-40 that has been in our family for 24 years. 123K original miles, three speed, hard top. This vehicle is VERY original!!! Working factory am radio and aerial, license plate frame, original manuals, glove box light, fuse box cover, original jack and hardware, rear seat heater. All original keys for ignition and doors, with lock code.
Mechanical- it has a rebuilt head with hardened valve guides, ground cam and engine has all new gaskets/seals. It has new stock bushings, and full tie rod end set. New Toyota factory carburetor, and rear third member. New clutch with pressure plate and the master and slave cylinders have been rebuilt. The brake cylinders have been rebuilt. The engines compression is even on all cylinders, runs smooth and has plenty of power. All fluids have been changed, 15/40 Rotella oil change and toy filter, coolant flushed and dot 5 full silicone brake fluid added-no more leaking seals!
Body- The top has never been off of the vehicle and is in great shape. The doors are in excellent shape and the windows operate well. It has the typical rust on the rear sill, under the tail gate doors and a small amount on the rockers and fenders. The vehicle has original, forest green paint, and for being 38 years old, it looks pretty good. It will need paint to look it's best again.
Interior- The drivers seat needs to be recovered, but is usable, passenger is solid. The full size jump seats are in great shape. All gauges work and all controls operate as they should. The original radio and speakers work. The dash has one crack, and the original head liner is in good shape.
My dad bought this vehicle for hunting in 1987 from the original owner, and then gave it to me about five years ago. I was planning on restoring the vehicle completely and have done a lot of work on her, but will be moving soon and can't take her with me. The vehicle was registered up to 09/2010, but did not renew the classic tags, because of lack of driving it. My wife and I have owned 27 Cruisers, and this the most original and most documented I have ever had! Clear Colorado title. All paperwork from the last 24 years comes with the truck. All original parts that have been replaced to be included with the sale. Most parts Toyota original. Some extra parts included. I am looking to sell it to the right-person. Someone that will restore it and keep it stock-not cut it up....She is too nice!
Please call with questions-
Thanks for reading and happy trails!
