Well, aren't the swaps $20-25k? I can see the argument of $25k swap + 12k cruiser = 37k. Doesn't mean I agree, but one could see how they landed there.

Who would pay 25 k for a swap? That's just nuts. It's manual transmission too so that's even easier.

I think he spent all that money and then had regret like the size of the Titanic and now is trying to get out.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this truck around town. Never been able to catch him to discuss but it looks really clean. Can't say it's worth $37k but it's not a beater either. I may see if I check it out.

Someone is living on the edge driving around with no seatbelt, snapping pictures and driving on fumes.

Are 200’s beginning to come down under the 30k mark more often? Maybe the least desirable color, but that’s a lot of vehicle for $28k and sub century mark miles. This one’s been up awhile but it’s also Florida so far less demand/respect...

If it's legit, that's a good deal. For whatever reason, a lot of cars from Florida have really sketchy histories - prior flood, salvage, theft recovery, trashed in general - so be very careful with that. I went to that dealer's website to pull a Carfax, and they don't have it in their inventory online. I have an 08 LX 570 (the Lexus 200) with 161k miles and just picked up a 16 Land Cruiser with 45k miles. The Lexus drives just as nice even though it's 8 years and 120k miles older. A 200 under $30k can be a great buy, but read up on Mud for common things to look out for - rusty KDSS valves, water pump, cam tower leak, starter, radiator are the biggest things that affect some but not all.

Oh Florida. Never change.

All the best headlines have Florida in them...

Even within the state, we know where to avoid when car searching. Namely, anything out of Miami has been flooded, used in a murder, or both.
