That's my buddy's rig, I built the rack. He just ran through the Pawnee Grasslands with me. He's an adventure guy and his Cruiser is a tool to get him there and back. There's very few straight panels left on it. However, we do have an agreement that if it doesn't sell for what he needs it to, I get it for MUCHO' CHEAP... I plan on either turning it into a 100 series pickup ala Slee's 80 series Valkari (SP?) or chopping the top, tubing the entire passenger area and making a family side by side toy to beat on. Or... my personal favorite, chopping it behind the rear doors and building my 2 person dream camper. Lets hope it doesn't sell.
The thing drives straight as an arrow, new TB/Water Pump, lots of records, he just beats on it and keeps driving it. He's wedged it in quite a few ditches, drug it along the side of another rig trying to pass on Spring Creek, scraped a stump with his door. To him it is pure utilitarian and he has WAY more fun than most on a trail. He won't get near $5k. It's pretty amazing to see just how much that rig has taken, and it keeps on ticking.
