I emailed the guy and he responded, "I'm overwhelmed with calls". He shared his cell on his email response and I left him a message immediately. That was about four hours ago. I'm sure it's sold by now. If it was truly all original with no rust then someone got a deal.

For historical reference. Digging the pinstripe, very retro, very cool.

1983 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser - $22000 (colorado springs)

Last year the FJ40 was imported into the US - one of just a few hundred.
All stock less aftermarket radio and American Racing wheels. Many new parts. Also includes original wheels and hub caps, soft top and doors (used one summer), trouble light, tool kit, and jack.
Original Medium Blue paint.

The '83 FJ40 was sold to the first person who saw it, according to a buddy of mine who was in line for it.

How do you know he's not German? He did capitalize the nouns after all.

Or he had Elke Sommer on the mind...

"Hello Im selling myself built Camper that I started this Sommer"

Starts that off well ... As my grandmothers would say Uff da

Not sure the "self built" part was needed...that's kind of obvious from the pics, don'cha think? :)
