Looks like he's planning on parting out the roof rack and some other stuff too...

yeah saw that but for cannot seem to find any info online on a "Garvin Wilderness roof rack" for the 100 series so not sure. Seems they make FJ and jeep racks.

Saw a 1998 100 series up near Conifer for $4500. 236,000 miles or so. Looked nice from the outside, gray metallic color.

There's deals to be had. The '95 80 I just picked up has 165k miles, super clean other than some fading paint, and WAAAAAY below that price...but the deals are few and far between - and only getting more scarce. Not sure why, but the one I found was only showing up on Ft Collins craigslist, not Denver. I think that helped it stay a bit "hidden."

That's one of the major reasons I was eying 100's - despite their super impressive engine longevity and lack of major issues, there's tons of great deals to be had on them. Maybe it's the fact that there were more on the road, or that most were just mom-mobiles, but you can get a hell of a foundation for a super reasonable price still. We'll see how long that lasts...
