Today's Craigslist Highlights...Pt 2

I'm not sure if it was legit. I emailed them with my name, phone number and obviously my email address, and said I was local to them, and I asked how the seats looked under the seat covers and if the head gasket or heater hose ever gave them trouble.

This was the reply I got "Good, can you send your contact details". That seems odd considering they didn't answer any of my questions, and I had clearly already given my contact details. The story in the original ad seemed slightly off too saying they were moving to Mexico, and I find it hard to believe that an original owner of a clean 19 year old 80 would be selling it that cheap. If it was a scam, it was pretty good though considering how blatantly obvious most scams are. Curious to see if it pops back up again.

Hmm. Yeah that response sounds like a scam. The ad sure had a lot more info and pics than most scam ads though.

I sent 2 emails asking to them with my name and phone number. Never heard a response to either of the emails. So unfortunately, I think it might have been a scam also.
