I'm sure Motoloco already grabbed it and has it for sale on MUD with some new tires for 3 grand. :hill:

that's why we have a members only classifieds section also. the reason i wanted it was to keep some deals for our eyes only. you can always post stuff like this there.

Anyone else seen the tan FJ40 for sale parked just east of 95th on S. Boulder Road. It looks pretty nice, and its the second 40 I've seen for sale in that spot in the past year. Haven't stopped to see the price yet.

You could get that one for a pretty good deal if you showed up with cash! It is a very clean 40! A little insight why you might see older Toyotas parked on that site is Justin's Grandpa and Grandma own that land and the other house there is Justin's mom's. Justin Lombardi is New Car Sales Manager at Boulder Toyota. That Cruiser belongs to the Service Manager at BT who bought it to flip for big bucks but now just needs to get rid of it. I think right now he's asking $4500 (was asking $10.5!). If I needed another FJ-40 I would snatch it up fast! It is one of the cleanest 99% original Cruisers I have ever seen!

I called and spoke with Justin a couple weeks ago and at that time they were hoping to get $6,500. $4,500 would be a good deal!

too bad the fuel to get it back here would negate any savings.

One Way Plane ticket to LA - $284

Gas to drive an 80 home taking the scenic route - $500

The shear pleasure of driving your own 40th Anniversary Land Cruiser on Route 66 and being able to take ANY side route along the way.......PRICELESS!

I will be there next week and would be happy to pick up and drive it back for a modest fee, plus expenses. :D Driving the 40 back would cost more for wear & tear (on the body). :lmao:
