I am really interested... Talked to the guy says it needs engine work. 5/6 valves not sealing? Head gasket??

1994 Toyota Landcruiser 4x4 All Wheel Drive 180k miles. Moon roof, power everything, BFG all terrain tires. Engine needs work, transmission fine. Dings, scrapes but no major damage

I have the guys phone number. He sux at emails..

Guy thinks it needs major headwork... but wasn't really sure... not a mechanic. I can't look at it till Monday, and I am trying to get someone to go before then...and give me a prognosis... He says it still runs, just lacks compression on 5 and 6...

I want it....

I just have no time this weekend or I would do it. Heck even if the cylinders are scored badly I'm sure you can source a good shape 1FZ and swap engines and still make out price wise! At that price it would also make a good candidate for a fuel saver swap of somekind I would think!

Depends on whether you do the work or someone else does. You do the wiring or you spend north of $500 on a harness. Motors start at $800, most a bit north of that, and parts I would guess at no more than $500? Don't hold me to that.
