I was thinking US spec since he said he's owned it for 20 years. What do you see that points to SA import?

Chilean license plate, kilometers only speedo, 82, but big jump seats, “factory oil bath air cleaner”, Chilean web site stickers on it, non OEM roll bar, to list a few things. None of that means that it isn’t as nice as it looks, but I would defintely want to see it in person for that money, and being South American, just in case.

Wow, That is a crazy repair. They'd have to have gotten that LC for nearly nothing to have that labor and parts in it and still turn a profit.

Honestly, props to them for posting before, duringrepair, and after photos. Not many do that, nice they are trying to be above board about it.

I have so many questions about why this hasn't been totalled out or why he isn't fighting Toyota tooth and nail for a frame replacement as it should be covered, no?

The frame is the worst I have personally seen for only 100k vehicle

I would be surprised if it's legal for a dealer to sell a vehicle in that condition. Looks downright dangerous and WAY overpriced.

Exactly. I'd be interested in it for $5 or 6k and then a fight with Toyota for a full frame replacement.

But wow, that frame just vanished.
