The only thing that kills these are $12 worth of heater ts when they get old and break. $30 min fix. Timing belt takes a few hours and the kit is $350.

And check that all of the spark plugs are tight. It's odd but they do like to back out over 60 to 100k.

Just to be clear, I'm not interested right now. I think the first land cruiser I'll ever own will hopefully be a FJ60, but most likely will be a FJ80. The 4runner is still gets me everywhere I need to be.

I don't think it's been on fire technically, I'd say a wildfire probably ran over it or maybe the garage where it sat caught fire. Careful with those oily rags all you Cruiserheads.

Ha ha those wheels must be HUGE. Are those 26" or bigger? Some elements are really awesome, but then others are just confusing. It reminds me of how so many people used to modify G class SUVs. They would have huge brush guards and lifts with 30" wheels and rubber band thick street tires....
