Too bad it's not just a local sale. It's at $9,300 as of 6:32AM on Nov 29, 2018. Bidding ends in 6 hours, 45 minutes. More than I can afford right now already. :-(

Probably because it's a mile long wheelbase custom cab with a frame extension, dead engine and no title. The WilderNest was most if its value I think.

True, but the parts alone would make it worth picking it up for the $50 asking price. That is, unless its a typo, and it should read $500.

Yeah, probably, if you're looking for donor parts for an SAS and Marlin Ultimate it's worth $50 and your time. Having no title and a hacked frame I think make it a tough sale since it would have to be the start of a buggy project otherwise.

Guy does all these upgrades, drives it 1000 miles, and then is ready to sell. Who does this? If I did all this work, I would want to drive it for at least a year and 10,000 miles. Probably way more than that.

Plus it needs a tune-up after only 1000 miles?? Did he realize that he did a bunch of incompatible upgrades and now just wants to dump it? If I

The "Midwest truck" translates to "modifications done and won't pass Colorado emissions with out putting thousands more in to it"

It looks like an Oklahoma truck. Do they have annual vehicle safety inspections and perhaps it failed from the "surface rust" being a bit understated?

Yeah, this is a good example of not being able to figure out how to get all of the components to work together happily. His tune is probably only for dyno programming and doesn't translate well for street use or emissions.

was a midwest truck means 'every bolt will snap off as soon as you look at it'

that said i'm guessing he has too much debt from all the crap he bought and needs the money. just a guess tho
