My landcruiser and a 250 in my neighborhood![]()
This was an experiment to see if anybody would notice. I think I'm about to see one several times a day and it ends up being something else, I have to do a lot of second takes. This one gets me a couple times a week...I think I'm about to see a 200 and it ends up being a Highlander all the time as wellWhere is the 250? I see a j**p across the street.
Nice spot, I don’t know that one. The mirrors are from Euro 60s and they’re still available from Toyota.Saturday evening 8/24 during a walk around the Southern Gables neighborhood in Lakewood. I wouldn't have recognized those non-USA side view mirrors until @Cruisertrash explained where his came from. Until I saw his, the upgrade on 60 side view mirrors I had always seen were 62 mirrors. The 60 was sharing the driveway with two late model tacos.

My favorite 45 in Aspen.
Judging from the bezel on the front it's a 1980s SA truck. You probably already knew that though! That's interesting that the rear axle is SF. Mine's FF. Also the trapezoidal shape of the bed tire cutouts, mine are round.

Christo is opinionated? Damn right. In 2008 we purchased an African Outback rack and a Technitop tent that he sold because they were from SA. A year later and he had dropped the lines because he decided that South Africans were stupid. Yeah, he has opinions.Ha! Speaking of SA (where Christo is from), when I pulled into his place when I first got my 45, he got this look on his face, pointed to it and said "I hate those things!". I guess not being able to adjust the seat is one thing, and one ton leaf spring suspension is the other.
