@nuclearlemon I’ve been the facilities manager at SH for 5 years. I’m here today, currently taking a break from reading new city ordinances that affect our HVAC equipment. 25 years ago is right about when the church sold the building to Swallow Hill and we first moved in and that was a long time ago. One of the first things I did when I came on board was go meet the neighbors and try to put an end to the parking headaches. And in my career here I’ve only ever called to have one vehicle towed - a big company truck with an enormous trailer that had been in the lot for a week taking up 8 spots - 8 more patrons’ vehicles that were forced to park in front of our neighbors, pissing them off. So things have changed. Yes, I want to make sure our patrons are accommodated, but the neighbors are our neighbors 24/7 every day and I don’t want SH to be a bad neighbor. Not ever. I saw this all in an unofficial, off-line capacity of course since official messaging comes out through our marketing department.

Anyway, it looks like I missed a daily Cruiser show across the street 20 years ago when you were here. That would have been cool!

Couple of local to me trucks near W Hayward Pl and Tennyson St. First is a clean third gen(?) Runner and then an old 2WD mini truck.

I’d definitely rock the mini truck. 😎

Looks like a Thiokol snowcat.

I've loved old snowcats for a very long time; I would really love a Tucker: some day I would like to build a replica of the 743CF used for the International Geophysical Year in Antarctica. I don't believe those ever came back from "the ice" hence there are none available for anyone to buy. It could be outfitted as a "winter motorhome" - probably one of the crazier ideas floating around in my brain - who in their right mind would want to snowcat back into a remote place in the dead of winter and sleep the night inside their cat? I don't know, maybe some people do it.

Here's another forum/hobby for you to get sucked into: https://www.forumsforums.com/threads/tucker-model-sequencing-in-order.76239/page-3#post-20642595

Colorado Snowcat Jamboree: next event is March 10-12, usually held at Vail Pass:

Who in their right mind would bounce and bang their way down some God-forsaken "road" only to sleep in the back of their station wagon?

Not sure where else I'd put this...but a Hobby Lobby score! Wood art it's 3D soooo pumped l, looks great by my 200...thinking about removing the rear window vent support so it looks like an earlier model...bummed they put the fresh air vent on the wrong side instead of a kick vent

Saw two (looked to be lifted) 80s on south pierce just a bit ago. Red and green (collectors I think). Anybody here? Neighbors of mine?

This was parked at the end of my block last night and was still there this morning. I can’t get a bead on the building it’s parked in front of - lots of different people coming and going. Maybe an AirB&B. Anyway, it’s cool as hell. I think it’s a KZJ78.
