It's hard to take a bad picture in the desert.

But that moonrise picture is AMAZING!

And I've never seen bighorn in the desert, fun stuff for you guys.

The moonrise was UNREAL. Probably the coolest I've ever seen.

We were fortunate to have Blair's camera to see those bighorns. From the naked eye, we couldn't tell if they were deer, donkeys, or zebra.

Canon 7D, 18-135 lens that came with it. I wish I caught the moonrise a minute or two earlier, when it was more behind the mountain but it works.

Wow what great pic's. I want to do that trip so bad, I would even do as passenger just to be there. Hey Chris if you have any problems with that carpet shoot me a PM. I have some great stuff for odors. Dan

What makes a good trip?

Long range planning and a haul across the country
Night wheeling a "challenging" trail
Hiking/boulder scrambling....at night
Desert running
Snow run
Epic hikes
A full moon
Great campfire conversation
Cold beer
A river crossing
Using a winch

Yeah.....this trip had ALL of them.
Best trip of all time. The rubicon was pretty epic, but I think this was overall more entertaining.

Man, the pictures of this thread have significantly raised the bar, trip report-wise. I keep mentally returning to the Maze each time I look at this. Great stuff, keep it coming! :beer2:

Maybe you'd like to see about 30GB of video too ? Yeah, I can pretty much relive the drive to Hite, the trip to the Dollhouse and some of the trip out. :p:

Sweet li'l diesel 40 on SOB Hill. Sitting idle while repairs are made on the sweet li'l diesel 70.

Carnage on SOB Hill. Group tool donation saved the day with hammer, c-clamp and baling wire doing the trick.

Thank you to this dude for spending time planning this trip and getting permits.
