I saw a TRD Pro 4Runner going down the road the other day. I thought is was the best looking 4Runner I had ever seen. I know what you mean about these Pro Models.

I am on the list as #1 or #2 at a dealership in Colorado for a 2017 Cement TRD Pro.

Order one from Mountain States. You can get it exactly like you want in 4-6 weeks. Bought mine for $200 over invoice which was 2.5k less than Stevinson. I have tried to buy 3 trucks from Stevinson, but they act like they are the only game in town and only came off $500 because of how popular they are.

Very excited for you Chris. And then it's only a quick 45 minutes on a Friday morning when you get the itch to head into the hinterlands with the family for the weekend to load up and go...

How far out the back of the truck bed does your FWC sit Carlton? Have you had any issues with the tailgate bending?

Hi Matt,
With the short bed Tacoma the FWC sticks out I think about 8". I generally remove the tailgate when we go camping but didn't this past weekend, just because I was in a hurry. The camper rests in the bed of the truck and has no weight on the tailgate. If we were up on trails wheelin' and camping, I'd always remove the tailgate.

Also, when we're on trails or camping for more than just a weekend, I also remove the jacks you see on the side of the camper, as you definitely wouldn't want those catching a tree, rock or anything.

Matt what do you miss and not miss about your Taco set up?

I don't know about nowadays, but when Matt first switched, one of the things he mentioned to me, and why I was asking earlier, was kiddos.

Their safety equipment is MASSIVE these days. SUV's in general, and 80s/100s more so, fit them a lot better, at least until they are old enough to do boosters. Even there, its so easy for them to kick the back of the seats, though my 4runner will likely have that issue.

I think 10-14 ish is probably the ideal time for the taco, depending on the kids. They gotta be big enough not to be booting you all the time, but small enough to still ride comfortably.

Anyway, probably let Matt chime in now, LOL :D:D:D:D :lmao:
