I wish you luck and am hoping for the best!
Glad you have electricity back. Consider this early training for the upcoming armaggedon. We just got power back. Not having running water sucks. Everything else I can manage but my little Honda generator won’t fire the 220 cistern pump.
Went into town today. Things were running semi normal. Like 70% traffic, most businesses open. I didn’t check Main Street. Still a handful of road closures. One out by me but I’ve just driven through anyway. It’s just water on the road.
Looks like it will be awhile before you can travel between Pagosa and Durango. They have it worse than us. 550 north is also closed currently. Rolling through Telluride is the only route in from the north.
I’m hoping moving forward it’s snow until late spring.
Please don’t remind me.Glad you have electricity back. Consider this early training for the upcoming armaggedon.![]()
Yes with the King tide and heavy local rain, we are having quite a few areas in south Florida that under water or flooding. This is some really wild stuff. Makes me glad I live on a mountain top and not right next to a river.
@TacoDane was sharing some pictures and videos with me from Florida yesterday. They're dealing with the same issues where he lives. He's been trying to help pull people out of the floods.
CR250, runs up the east edge of the valley north of town. If any of you have ever been to the show at Bar D this it the road you take to get there.
