2nd wet coat of clear as the sun set. I shouldn't have sprayed the basecoat yesterday because the clear had to be applied a maximum of 24hrs later. The clear tonight extended the timer by 3 days. Wetsanding tomorrow. Thank you UB for the tip on the gun. I emptied the tank, cleaned all the filters and as I sprayed the last ounce of clear, water had just started to find it's way to the 2nd filter of 4. The clear went on sooooooooooo smoooooooth.

Looks sweet!

How do you get enough light in that tent to paint?

The full time job takes up most of my daylight. LED headlamps work well and are not an ignition source. You have to hold your head just right to see the pattern though.

I was hoping to have the retro 80 all done and bring her to the Rally. There just isn't enough time to get it done right. I wanted to thank everyone that has worked on the Ptarmigan to get her to this point.

Windscreen installed. That was a $300 mod. I had full coverage including glass but when I filed the claim, the agent forgot to add glass coverage when the policy was created so......I dropped all my coverage. Caught me on a bad day, that was 5 policies they just lost for a $5 mistake. I gave her a chance to make it right but she would not budge. I have had multiple policies through that agent for 16 years.
