Sweet I’m not going to buy one then.
I've got one of those inflatable 2 person rafts NIB. I bought it a few years ago to use at Red Feathers, and never busted it out. So I can bring it.
Anyone need a passenger or want to be a passenger? Love driving my 200 around, but would be happy to split the trip with someone.
I’m getting really pumped!
I'm leaving Thursday night after work, but your more than welcome to ride along. Especially after getting the spare mounted again.

I am assuming if the schedule doesn't say we are stopping at a cafe' or diner or someplace, we are on our own for meals? Do you guys tend to do light and fast lunches or ??? curious as to what to shop for and pack up.
Also, should I still track down my friends kayak thingy? It sounds like there could be a few rafts with oars coming now?
Most breakfasts and lunches are pretty quick and easy, although some guys do the under-the-hood burritos. That's not to say any meals are rushed -- you have time to assemble whatever you want. This year we're going to be down along the Missouri River for days without heading back to I civilization, so bring plenty of food. Dinners are usually cooked, sometimes shared. It's really up to you.
Just keep in mind that the end of the road may be 1-5 miles from the river. If it's a light, inflatable kayak, I would bring it. If it's heavy, it may be more trouble than it's worth.
I know Perry is headed out a bit early, and sounds like the rest of the Denver clan is leaving sat AM. I was thinking of getting going pretty early. Say on I 25 by 6:30-7am.
Anyone else want to caravan?
PS, I got the trot lines all did up, hopin’ for a catfish fry.

I might do the tartar on Grand Island to save the trouble of bringing a stove. I'll be sure to make an extra helping for you Drew.Rezarf said:I didn't want to be doing PB&J while chef master Jacket was making steak tartar with a lemon grass butter sauce.

That works for me.

Seriously though - it's a long trip and there will be lots of variety. I might do tartar one night and share it, and then have a grilled cheese pie iron for one the next.
