I'm interested. Only caveat is work is kind of fluid right now. Can I get on the list?

Got you on the list Ken. Be fun to have you along.

And all, as far as a get together, planning session, why don't we try for the 11th of July. On a Wednesday. Will go over the route. Biggest thing to figure out will be getting to Grand Island. Gas is another issue.

SUPER EXCITED for this run!!!!

Perry, I hate to be waffle boy but I think I will do the Cruiserfest run instead. 10 days and getting home 3 days before Rachels wedding may not make my wife happy while she is running around getting ready. I have never been to the Museum so planning on doing that run instead. Maybe next year I can join you

Hmmm. Should I cancel the RS Beer Tasting Event that I scheduled for July 11? I have been wanting to get together with the Outlaw gang.

me too! Have to get the 60 ready. 2 months away! You bringing Maude, Drew?

I have been wheelin' the 100 a lot and for long distances it can't be beat. I'll likely have my drawers/sleeping platform built by then so I'll likely take it.

I have been toying with the idea of bringing the 40, but it would need some attention to make sure it doesn't slow the group down. If the weather looks great for the week as we get closer I could change my mind :thumb:

Ken, no worries. Cruiserfest is a fun run if you haven't gone. Especially when you get a tour of the Land Cruiser Museum from our pal CDan:cool:.

Hope you can join Outlaws one of these years.

I'm down with combining the two. As long as they have non beer sodas to drink as well :)

Looking forward to this.

Get to work Martin!! Good talking with you yesterday:cool:.

Perry, the next two weeks are best for me to try to scout anything out that would be helpful. Maybe we could chat on the phone and get an idea of what you need from me? I am happy (even looking forward to) get up there and recon anything that would help the trip along. Maybe we could open up some maps and chat through what exactly you need eyes on before the trip.

THanks!

Drew,

Really do appreciate you checking things out for the group. Will get in touch with you to go over some things. One of my biggest concerns is conditions. The Missouri is currently in flood stage. It's expected to be as bad as the 2011 floods, if not worse. It would be good to know what road conditions are like as flooding progresses. On top of that, Grand Island is another priority. Yes, it'll be good to chat in person about all this:blah:.

Again, appreciate it!

Just an FYI: I don't think this planning session is happening. Perry is in Seattle. I can't make it regardless - yesterday I learned that I have pneumonia. :(

Hey Outlaws, I'll be in Yellowstone the week of August 6th, then have a few days to explore the week of the 13th prior to the official start of the run Aug 17th. Is anyone planning to head out early and do any camping/exploring on the way North from Colorado? My plan is to wander around, camp, visit Drew in Bozeman and hopefully caravan North. What's everyone else thinking?

Martin,

Glad your getting some good travel time with this trip. Sounds awesome.

If anything. I'll be heading out Thursday night after work. But would be fun to get the group together for a caravan on that Friday for the trek north.

I'm still planning to depart on Saturday Aug. 18. Jackson mentioned that he plans to leave Saturday as well. We'll have to drive like the wind to catch up with y'all.

With mixed sentiment, the product of me becoming more domesticated and less Outlaw, I will not be on the Outlaws run. Anna and I are going to take an Adventure Week Sunday the 12th - Sunday the 19th. Should I win the lottery before that, I'll do both trips, but otherwise, and given the lottery odds (and not buying tickets) and need to work on occasion, I'm out. Not sure where we are going, but WY is possible and maybe our paths would cross at Inversion Camp. I have been meaning to get back up to the Kilpecker Dunes and Bighorn Medicine Wheel. Maybe we see the Black Hills. Maybe we do Colorado high peaks. Planning will start after FJ Summit.

Like Ken, I'm also going to Cruiserfest (Ige and I leading the Denver run). That one is a short trip and it would be great if you all went too!

So hard to hit "submit reply" .... :gaah:
