When i spoke to the BLM yesterday for the CM post use report, i believe she indicated a permit was needed for 25 or more rigs if was not commercial, or no money was being charged (like the CM event). Since in this case no money, and under 20 rigs you should be good
. It came up because of questions she asked me about CruiserFest, and who this Kurt Williams guy was... Told her Kurt has been doing our swell trip for years now.
I put a request in at work for the dates off, should know next week (if there is still an open spot).

I will be bringing the trailer, definitely.
Awe man, Perry, I really need to hang out in the Swell for a while . . . but 'fraid I'll be wheeling in Oregon during that time frame. Maybe next time.

I would be bringing my trailer too. I'd plan on doing Black Dragon Canyon (going down) on the way to Moab Friday.

it is looking more and more like I won't be able to go on this one now.
So I am going to go ahead and officially back out since there is more demand, so that should free up one spot.
