All here already know how winter travel can be very challenging in Colorado and therefore, I'm thrilled that CDOT got serious about their warning signs on our steep mountain road!

A friend who has lived in Ned for 50 years hit a Moose in Boulder Canyon two weeks ago. Totaled the car, fortunately she is OK. Those things are big.

Glad shes ok. Not always the case with these beasts......but, it is Ned and they out number the people 3 to 1! (just kidding)
This one almost kicked a bunch of Tourists arses as they followed it down to the creek to get selfies with it.

Buddy glanced off one up by camp dick in his exploder. It literally ran out of the woods and directly into the side of his car as he was going ~35mph. The guy fell over, then got back up, looked at him like "hey F U, buddy!" then walked back off into the woods. I think 3 panels on his exploder were dented, but nobody hurt, including the moose.

That’s pretty much what happened to my friend. But the beast got tagged by the right front corner, flew onto the hood, took out the windshield and moved the roof enough the back window blew out. The poor critter died. The car was a newer RAV4.

There are other threads and places to discuss this topic.Pre Covid I knew maybe two people who died of cancer or cardiopulmonary disease in the preceding ten years. In the last three years, eight people (family/acqaintances) have been diagnosed with heart disease or turbo cancer and died within four months. The youngest was 12 years old. The oldest was 49. Unbelievable. Unforgettable. Iatrogenesis.
From a moderators persepective, can we tone down the politics in what is supposed to be a humor thread?

I agree. As much as I am interested in politics, I come to this form for Toyota content. We already have a designated thread for spicy political memes.From a moderators persepective, can we tone down the politics in what is supposed to be a humor thread?
