Looks nice Corbet! I made a few shoulders on a Large BGE over the weekend, it worked pretty well!

Finished the table build. Need to stain it and seal the travertine. I countersunk the tiles on the top. I did not add it up but probably $150 in materials. I'll use left over deck stain to finish it. Have some tile sealer laying around too.

Are you supposed to slow heat eggs like you do pizza ovens for the first fire? Looks great! Now clean that shop asap! ;)

Pizza ovens get up to like 900 degrees. The Egg is gonna stay below 300 most of its life so I doubt there is a need to break it in.

There was an online instruction to keep it below 350° the first time to allow the gasket adhesive to cure. Oops. I'm sure it will be fine. Easy to replace anyway.

On to more important things. Meal #2. Chicken. I now only eat food cooked in the egg. This thing is awesome.

Eggs are the bomb. I've had ours for about 15 years and it still rocks like the day I bought it..
