I’ve been eye balling those aluminum flanges on EBay for some time. Nice to see a trusted review. I’ll probably order a couple to replace some damaged flanges. They still fail with time even with viton seals.
Even thicker plastic would have been fine but the aluminum is hell for stout. It could get pricey if you have a lot of MFCs at $25 a pop but I'm sure the swelling and sucking in MFCs do is brutal on these flanges.

I’ll pick up 3-4 to get the free shipping. No reason to equip the whole fleet. Plus I have a handful of replacement cap assemblies from Scepter already.
When you have a bunch of original Scepter cap flanges it might be handy to keep a solid disk of Viton around to seal one in a pinch. This is JAGMTE's but just cutting a couple yourself from some stock would work.

I bought a 2 gallon Rotopax at the swap meet, and it has the hapless/unusable EPA spout on it, that won't pass gasoline at all, locked or unlocked.

Is the solution to simply by something like this:

Thanks - Steve

I don't have rotopacks, but if I did I would mount them higher than my fuel door and use a jiggle hose to siphon into the tank.

Wow, that is a couple of products that I would have never thought to combine. I'll bet its a shitty traction board and a lame fuel container.
