wms = warehouse management system?
That's what Google told me.
Wheel Mount Surface

WMS. Wheel Mounting Surface: This is the surface on the axle that the wheel sits flat on. This is usually a drum brake drum, disc brake disc, or a wheel hub. You'll often see this used in a "WMS to WMS" measurement, which is the same as "axle width"

Front is getting there. Got knuckles on and set. Link mounts are tacked in too. I’m ordering new upper links and hardware…hopefully my steering kits and ball joints are showing up soon!

front end is almost ready to weld out, we’re finishing the ram mount. It’s been slow going just because so much is tedious but we’ve been pushing along a couple nights a week. Finalize got the rear cut, knuckles on and measured and tacked in last night. I’m almost to the point of a lot of welding….hopefully I can order shafts next week. We centered the rear pinion so the rear inner shafts are equal length. Still so much to do

Ready to weld. Waiting on inner shafts and brakes at this point, and a few miscellaneous hydraulic fittings.
Cleaned up the back tube work quite a bit and made adjustments for better visibility.

Still looking for a new hood and fenders

I’d guess I’m about a month away at most from driving it but with the cold and snow we keep getting I don’t think that matters much

That looks real nice. crazy how beefy it all is. Does the stock knuckle use bushings like that? Are those the stock outers all welded up or something different?

No stock is ball joint top and bottom. This uses ball joint eliminators so it’s a greasable brass bushing with a huge shoulder bolt up top in case a shaft breaks you don’t lose the knuckle. I welded high steer arms on to the factory knuckles. They’re proving to be very strong and I got the kit (and spent like a night on each arm) fitting and welding each knuckle.
The shafts are HUGE. 1.75 40 spline

Took a minute, got the wrong brake caliper brackets sent out twice but I guess the third time was the charm. After several hours of bleeding we have a winner, heading to junction tomorrow for a shakedown. Hopefully all ready for overlanding once I get my maxtracks and tent installed.
