Hi All,
I am new to the forum (technical difficulties registering...thanks to Matt for helping me out). For some time I had wanted to sign up for the GTR July 28-29, but could not register. Now that I can participate on the forum, it looks like there is a wait list for this trip. If possible, I would like to be added to the wait list. I am new to Colorado and actually will be moving there in early July (to Evergreen). I plan to attend the club meetings and hopefully join up once I'm officially there. Anyway, greetings to all and hope to see you soon. Let me know if any further information is needed in order to sign up for the wait list on this trip. Thank You

Hey all, sorry to not be as active as I should on this run. Just was waiting to see if I was going to be able to make it or not regarding health issues. Now that I know I can still lead the run, will be posting up more as we get closer. Still need to finalize the route, mostly Sunday's portion. Looking forward to this run. Always a fun one!

.Thanks all for the interest in this run. Always a fun one.
So here is the basic plan:
Saturday we will be meeting up in St. Elmo. From there we will make our way to the Mary Murphy Mine. After some time, continue over Hancock Pass. Sadly, the Palasades are still out of commission, so we wont be able to make it to the West Portal of the Alpine Tunnel. Camp will be along Middle Quartze Creek.
Sunday: There will be two groups Sunday. One going over Cumberland Pass and the other Napolion Pass. For Napolion Pass, i'll be picking 5 vehicles to lead over. The rest will head over Cumberland. With the hopes of the two groups re joining in Tincup. From there its the long drive back to reality.
Planning a potluck again for Saturday night.
