I realized that when I saw the other thread update. Just like the challenge of figuring out how it related to 1305 (there IS actually a year 1305 relevance it seems to some spinning invention) and this sewing machine came up. Tying up disparate threads of pointless thoughts...I posted it the wrong place!
A quick search isn't showing anything specific. It does look like the spinning wheel made it's way from the Middle East to Europe around 1280.
