WTF?!?!?!? After all the grief Land Rover got for their new Defender, that looks just like the vehicle above, Toyota is just going to copy it?
Somehow Aus gets solid axle Cruisers even though they are more of a "safety nanny state" with limits on lift heights, safety inspections etc.toyota seems to only be following the crowd as of late. defender, jeep renegade copies.. definitely not bringing originality back to the market. and my guess well never see a solid axle under a toyota stateside again because of safety. my guess like wranglers a SA is more prone to rollovers in a collision.
I’d daily drive that in a heartbeat. And wheel my 80 on the weekends.not sure if this one has been posted here yet. Y'all see the compact cruiser?
Toyota's Stylish New FJ Cruiser Could Be Based on the Tacoma
Toyota has trademarked 'Land Cruiser FJ,' which could be the name for a production version of the Compact Cruiser that could share a platform with the Tacoma.www.gearpatrol.com

It has four tires???The Compact Cruiser takes styling cues from the first-gen Land Cruiser. But it looks very much like it runs on a car platform.
