That looks awesome, those tires/wheels/hubcaps make it.

Robert Furman made some years ago. Maybe we can make another run.

Definitely familiar with Furman's stuff. Myself and several others had tried unsuccessfully to get a hold of Robert and find out if he will get more or if he will pass along the manufacture info. No luck thusfar. I met with a handful of W/S makers and sent samples of the "tall" and "short" bug-catcher W/S off to get quotes. I have one place in particular interested in doing it (as a one-piece unit like the original) and the cost is awesome BUT they need me to commit to 200-300 pairs which is a tough buy. There is another rubber manufacture in TX that a customer of mine was working with, they were able to do much lower volume runs albeit much higher per/pair costs.

Went ahead and powder coated the reproduction license plate frames. Just need to put a straighter bumper on.

These were some Pilgrim made for me. I have a new fabricator in mind that I need to talk to about getting more reproduced.

The 40 is still having fuel delivery issues because of crud in the tank so I have been driving the 25. Simpson thought it was funny that the 25 is my dependable daily driver.

Pulled the tank again today and flushed it as best I could. When I hooked it back up, there is still dirt getting pulled into the fuel filter bowl.

Adjusted the throttle linkage, moved the distributer over a tooth, swapped fuel pumps, retapped the carb I stripped, retorqued the spark plugs, and cleaned the tank... All the plugs look good though so I'll drive it around today and see what happens.

Very cool. Count me in if you get more made, the Mrs's 45 could use one.

Will do :)

Successful drive in the 40 today. Idle circuit was plugged again (I think the dirt was in the fuel pump), rebuilt it, and ran all day without a hiccup!

An FJ25 hand crank makes finding TDC a lot easier.

Here is something I learned the hard way. The fuel we use isn't compatible with the OEM gaskets any longer. When I took the fuel bowl apart, on the side of the road, it swelled up to the point it would no longer seal the glass against the lid. If you carefully lay it on top of a hot exhaust, it shrinks back to a usable size!

We 64'd the 64 a little more.
Looks cool with the straight and matching patina bumper.

The license plate mounted up front with a freshly powder coated bracket adds to the look.

Love it. Trying to convince him to dig into the stash and add the fog lights too..we shall see.
