Their 12,000 lb winch now comes with synthetic rope. My 100 has one from 10 years ago that still runs well. With the discount this is $360 tomorrow, usually $600.

If you don't mind wire or have synthetic to throw on there, you could get this for like $200!

Seems like a good deal on the badlands winches. I'd def go synthetic if using for anything other than like trailer loading.

Wonder what the internals look like. For example what's the grease, the gears, and brake look and assembled like.

Anyone take these apart when new? Anyone take them apart after a few years of age and usage?

The deal was only 1 day but I did snag one for one of my boys.

These seem to be the new versions of the winch. I know there was a guy on YouTube testing them and one guy who runs a recovery business only uses badlands winches and has been very happy.
