Used points to reserve a room at the Courtyard by the airport. It is near the Grand Vista I think...
Hey I need to apologize publicly to Liz, a friend of Kristin @The Rock FurRunner . I received a dm on the site from Kristin saying that Liz would like to attend the class. I misunderstood the message to say that Liz was considering it but was not positive. Then they were camping and out of communication. In the meantime, the class filled up and there was no room for her anymore. I'm very sorry Liz and Kristin, that was my mistake. The 20 person limit is pretty strict.

So the message on Friday at 2:26pm, when you said, "She is on the list" was a lie. In my opinion, the last person who signed up needs to be first on the waitlist. This is a major error on @timmbuck2 part. Liz has already made hotel reservations, and arrangements for child care for the weekend. When I am told someone is "on the list" but they aren't, because you didnt really add her, why does she have to be bumped?

Thanks to whomever offered up their spot! As I was scrolling through, I was about to offer up mine, but am glad that I don't have to.

Girls weekend happening at my house now, so I reserved at the Grand Vista like some others!
@timmbuck2 I have sent a couple private messages this week requesting payment instructions and have not received a response. Happy to pay as soon as I know how to do so. Please advise.

We had a similar situation. I understand there are volunteers trying to help out and I don’t want to belabor the point but I asked about my girlfriend attending and was told, “I am sure we can sneak your girlfriend,” Based on that we took time off work and booked a hotel. Then we found out yesterday there is not room. We really wanted to take the class together, that was the whole point. So, needless to say we are disappointed. After much discussion, we decided to go anyway, since we’ve already taken time off (we are both in education, I’m a teacher, she’s an administrator, so substitutes and arrangements are already made) and booked a room in Grand Junction. Now, unfortunately, she will have to stay in the room whilst I take the course. We are trying to make the best of it, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say we are both upset. We don’t want to displace or upset anyone else. We will just hope there still might be an opening.
I am doing my best here with people responding via many different ways. I did think we could get your girlfriend in but we are very limited on space. We still have several people who have not paid yet and we have a couple volunteers saying they will give up their spot for your girlfriend. Let's see who pays up and who decides not to go but as I said earlier I am still confident she can get in the class.
