You are welcome to join us.

Thanks Hulk. We will be there. We seem to be with the majority wanting to do option 1. We have not done Governor Basin in a few years. We look forward to it. Thanks for letting us crash your party.

It looks like I will be making the trek from Houston to Colorado with a buddy and would like to inquire if you guys have room for 2 more built Land Cruisers. I have a 98 LC and another buddy with a 97 3x locked 80.

We would be tentatively be in the Ouray/Silverton area around Friday and could attend the event on Saturday and Sunday.

Be good to finally meet you, Stan.

Is there a specific area in Ironton we should meet at?

Update: There will be 3 vehicles as the girls are coming. We rented a house so not sure about the potluck. They have always been fun in the past, we will have to see on that. Nice to have the Romer Caravan on two runs together this year

Rich, We'll make it work....somehow :)

I'm gonna try hard to make this. I love that area.
I tried running Poughkeepsie in July but the FS hadn't opened the gates, even though they were supposed to June 30th. I'd also love to run black bear.

If you have cold beer I might come up and help you drink it Friday night.

I'd like to go by Big Choice before I head down to pick up a few growlers. I prefer Hemlock (Double IPA), but Nathaniel's currently out except for cans. Hopefully, that will be resolved before tomorrow afternoon....I plan to be at the site Wednesday afternoon.

Other options include;
Disconnected Red - Amber Ale hopped like an IPA
Type 3 IPA - American Style IPA
Poblano Stout - Oatmeal Stout
Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster Session IPA - Liget IPA for hot days.
Hexennacht Maibock - (Ex-en-ach) German tradtion of sorcerers and witches on a May Day eve.

Any preference?

Dave. It isnt clear to me looking at Google maps exactly where Sundays meet up spot is. It shows Corkscrew Gulch off to the east of Million dollar highway with 3 or 4 possible ways to get there. Can you give a simple guy an X marks the spot :D

I can't stand any IPA but will enjoy anything else. Preferably lagers. I've been waiting to try out my new stainless steel vacuum sealed 128oz super growler. This might be the perfect opportunity.

Its the same road as the camp spot. County Rd 20/200 on the left off Southbound Hwy 550 at Ironton. Click on the link for the camp spot here and you'll see it. Stay left on 20 at the two county roads and there's a parking area just ahead. You don't go as far as 20A. You should be able to see the parking area as soon as you turn off the highway.

That's one BIG Growler! WOW!

I found that I acquired a taste for the IPA's over time. So I understand completely. Maybe some stout then?
