Got some more work done on the 72’ today. We replaced the door gaskets and rear hatch gaskets which made a huge improvement in the rattle department. We also installed the bluetooth stereo and kick panel speaker which is great! The speaker mounts we purchased from BTB do not fit the earlier trucks because of the back up light so we ordered some from SOR and painted them to match using some rattle can from Cruiser Corps. I installed rivnuts in the speaker mount and kick panel pillars so that the speaker mounts easily and is serviceable. We also used some lap sealant to seal up the gutter rail. I stalled a hood bumper on the gutter rail for when you tilt the hood back and got the room light, dash lights, turn signal lights, and license plate light all functioning today. Also made a new negative cable for the battery and replaced some hard vacuum lines. All together the truck is turning out great and Jamie is really enjoying it driving it almost daily.
