Damn dude yer goin for it. It’s gonna be a sweet rig I feel like that’s just gonna put ‘er over the top. Fresh 2f is gonna be sweet.
I figured building a 2F with an oil cooler made more sense then rebuilding the F155 that had already been rebuilt in the past. Gettin that extra 0.3L also. Burnouts.

Steve, if you build a 2F, what are you planning to use for carb, intake exhaust?

I was just reading your other thread and I am planning on running everything from the f155 on the 2F.

This is another anecdotal piece of evidence that a lot of these wound up bezel upside down leaving the factory post stamped bezel production runs

Cool pictures!!

I noticed that also. When I was buying the truck Richard pointed out it was upside down and he must have flipped it by accident at some point. Pictures dont lie though. Looks like it was that way since new.

Slow on progress lately but updated my parts list and have the 2F engine at Gunn having everything gone through. Looks like I am able to get all the bearings and pistons between Toyota and Partsouq which is a relief. Minor wear on the motor so don't have to go to over or under sized. Also when we were on the way back from racing in Canada we picked up a complete OME suspension kit from Kurt at cruiser outfitters to lower the 40 a couple inches. That should go on this weekend so ill add some updated photo's. Also got married in there also and the 40 is now my wife's as I gave it to her for a wedding present.

Domed or flat pistons? I'm going to be looking here pretty soon.

If only there was a source for OS domed 2f pistons…
Toyota oem gasket kits
Etc etc
Would be nice

Love the truck!
Tearing back into another reacquainted project to make the top match the carpet?
I don’t know I feel like I have messed up the saying…

Anyways
These ones sure do look good topless

FYI I just struck out for the second time trying to get main crankshaft bearings. Have Cruiser Outfitters on the hunt now.
That’s what Gunn told me a week ago - they’re having a hard time even getting the aftermarket main bearings.
