It will be a little odd to not be riding in the Hulk...

Hi Martin, mind if I bring my 40 and run with you all - finally?:zilla::D

A while back I was planning on the getting in on the Triple Bypass run, but I can't bring my son since he goes back to school the next week in August. I could probably bring him on the 31st.:)

Sounds good. Glad you all can make it. :thumb:

Hey Martin will this be an out and back or 285 to I-70 sort of run? Just curious as I am good to go if I trailer or drive the 40 out and back. Let me know.

Right now the plan is to enter and exit the trails along 285. However, if anyone wanted to go back via I-70, they could split off and head that way, no problem. The beauty of these trails is that there are a lot of combinations and routes to choose.

Myself and the Wife had a blast wheeling with all of you last year, we would like to make it up there again this year, if you'll have us? I will bring the camera, just like last time :D (maybe I can get some more pics for your calendar :thumb:

Thanks

Thanks Ricardo,
I still remember your help on the carb when I got there last year, that was some quick troubleshooting .

If someone can bring a USB drive 4 gig or more, I can transfer the photos to a club member before we head home. Last year some photos were not used because of low resolution (I was stuck sending them through E-mail).

Hope we are not subject to using chains again this year...it was fun anyways.

I would like to join in the 40's run. New to the club but looking forward to it. Where and when does the meet-up take place that day? I would imagine it will be me and one passenger. Have never done a 'group' trip so I am not sure what to expect and so on.
My 40 is a 73, stock F engine, about 3" lift and 31's under it. Welding up a spare gas can rack now and getting ready for this trip specifically. Thanks guys (and girls)!

It's at 9 AM in the Conifer/Aspen Park area, which usually means the Safeway parking lot but Marten will post up the final location before the run, just keep monitoring the thread.

All of the trails that day are pretty easy, just make sure your rig is in decent mechanical shape. Bring: a lunch, lots of water, clothing that is suitable for 90 degree to 40 degree weather and a great attitude. It should be a lot of fun.

I think you need to change this to 25 year old or older landcruisers only, because my 60 is as cool as any 40.......... so there.:tongue2:
