Wincher
Hello Rising sun. Was hoping for advice from those more knowledgeable than myself. I have a 2014 200 series. I bought right after selling my 80. I bought it with 160,000 miles and now has 195,000. I do all the maintenance on it that is within my ability, and anything I don't feel like tackling I take to Mountain States. So it's very well maintained. The last few oil changes I noticed my overflow coolant reservoir was empty. I bought some coolant from Toyota, filled it up, and it was empty again by next oil change. Temp never was an issue and never went over half way on the gauge. I couldn't find any evidence of coolant anywhere on the garage floor or on the engine. Assuming it was the valley plate, I took it to Mountain States Toyota. They ran the diagnostic and it ended up being a slow leak from the radiator. Relieved, I had them replace the radiator, and while there flush and fill the brake fluid and power steering fluid. Picked it up this morning, looked it over and all looked good. It drove and stopped great with the new fluids. Drove it home from work, Aurora to Broomfield, ran fine. Parked outside my house for maybe 10 minutes while I took care of dog and moved cars around to move it back into it's usual garage spot. Started it up, and it started running weird. Idling rough, running rough. Seeming to run worst in gear. Reverse and Drive, but maybe that was just me. Called Mountain States and they said to bring it back in. On the drive over it got worse, check engine light came on and "LO" Idiot light started blinking. Limped it there constantly monitoring the engine temp gauge. Just got it checked in and assuming they will look at it tomorrow. Any ideas what the hell could have happened? I'm sure I'll have an update tomorrow. I drop of a perfectly great running 200 series, and pick up a absolute mess. Any ideas what might be going on? Maybe help me get ahead of it if it's something they deny doing. Thanks for reading and any advice you all might have.
