Brakes on the boy’s Impreza. $200 kit from Summit Racing. Powerstop Evolution Plus pads and rotors were labeled “Autospecialty”.







That’s as close to 100% of pad use as I want to go.

General tune up items for the FZJ80. First new plugs since the turbo was installed.

With summer coming it was time to go Topless.

Not my rig, but my brothers.
So on the way home from Cruise Moab the number 3 piston left the chat. He picked up a JDM motor a couple weeks ago. Did a quick refresh with a new timing belt, water pump and all the things along with new gaskets for the valve covers etc etc.
yesterday we had the motor pulled in about 4 1/2 hours. Swapped some things from the blower motor to the new used motor, and will be installing the “new” motor today.
Hopefully it’s backing out of the garage under its own power by tomorrow.
The old motor is going to. A friend so he can decide if he wants to rebuild it for his buggy.
