I'll have to look at it again. Must be a 111. It does have a red bakelite knob with the fold out tank and blue case like yours.

Back to coleman, i broke the globe on my 200a. Where is the best place for replacements?

Best place is subjective, you can buy generic or oem replacements from amazon to ebay.

It's an early production 425F. Coleman doesn't make the classic white gas only camp stove anymore so if you want a new one this may be worth it.

They made the 425F from 1979 until 1996 so there's got to be millions of them out there and the only thing that's different on a 1983 from a 1993 is having the smooth surface instead of a hammered rough surface. My 425F is a 1993 and I really don't like the hammered finish, so that's not a small detail.

At this point spending much for one it seems to me you might as well get a dual fuel (the model 424) version that can use unleaded gasoline since Coleman still makes them. You can get gently used 425F for $5 just every day at any thrift store and the first time you fire this one up that's exactly what it's going to be.

Both collectors who care to have a complete set of perfect ones I assume will already have a nice 425F they bought new.

I've bought a few bits and pieces from Mike at https://www.oldcolemanparts.com. He's just a guy with lots of stuff as near as I can tell, e.g. the Cruiserhead collector equivalent with a backyard (probably actually a garage) full of old Colemans.

For new parts the official outlet is https://www.ereplacementparts.com, although it seems Coleman has finally begun discontinuing parts in earnest for their old stoves and lanterns so don't expect a lot of joy there. I was able to score a brand new 425 tank from there last year, though, so never know.

I haven't got anything cherry like, just a bunch of user quality stuff. I have a pretty sweet 425C (which needed the tank) I found in a thrift store and a great 426D (monster 3-burner) that I got at a Mountain Miser gear swap long ago from a retiring river guide. I also have a 425F and 288A I bought new in 1994, which I suppose makes them now ancient, too.

I may have an old red Coleman gasoline tank with a working pressure pump. But I would recommend upgrading to the small green propane tanks like i did; available at any backwoods hdw store. Much more convenient and safe to transport. The offer on the gas tank still holds.
