Not like officially for sale, but anyone want a 1970’s single burner? It’s green..50x something? If someone would love it and fix it up and use that would be awesome. Bro deal.

Saw this on FB, no idea if it's worth it or not.

It's an early production 425F. Coleman doesn't make the classic white gas only camp stove anymore so if you want a new one this may be worth it.

They made the 425F from 1979 until 1996 so there's got to be millions of them out there and the only thing that's different on a 1983 from a 1993 is having the smooth surface instead of a hammered rough surface. My 425F is a 1993 and I really don't like the hammered finish, so that's not a small detail.

At this point spending much for one it seems to me you might as well get a dual fuel (the model 424) version that can use unleaded gasoline since Coleman still makes them. You can get gently used 425F for $5 just every day at any thrift store and the first time you fire this one up that's exactly what it's going to be.

Both collectors who care to have a complete set of perfect ones I assume will already have a nice 425F they bought new.
