This and a few zipties to hold the shovel to your traction boards would do the same thing...

That's literally the shovel I have but mine is an older version that's actually branded "LITTLE PAL" and it's great to take the shovel to go take a 💩 and tell everyone in camp you're going on a big adventure with your little pal 🤣

That's only $18, my dude. How are you going to achieve overland enlightenment with an $18 shovel?

If you'd like even greater levels of thrifty deals, head to Marshalls, Ross, or similar store. They have that size shovel for $5.99. I straight up have 3 or 4 lil shovels handy all around my garage and garden. Stash them anywhere in the truck. Definitely take them camping for the convenience. I have yet to call them my little pal, but I will for sure start calling them that now 😆

As for zip ties, could a good overland bro please get a few of these Griplocks? Link:

Hi. My name is Paul and I'm a shovel junkie.

My most recent shovel hit was this Demos mini shovel to carry on my adv motorcycle for cat-hole duty while camping. I did score it cheap in Moab on the close-out shelf at Gearheads for $25.00 when the Narcs weren't looking.

I know I've let down friends and family due to this addiction but, it's kinda the overlandy thing to do....I do better next time.

This belongs in this thread. I have seen a few widdle wadders around town. I did not realize they made mini maxtrax and rotopax cans too.

I have seen more than a handful of 4runners in my area with the Widdle Wadder on the back 🤣

Hi Paul. Welcome to the group. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a "problem" :D

Pun intended about recovery ;D

Allen
I’m all about admitting my problems!

I’m also a gearbag junkie and started two companies to feed the need!
