I don't know about other Maverik stations, but this one has ethanol free gasoline currently about the same price as premium. I think it was 87 octane, but I wouldn't swear to it.

Maverik 11601 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80127

Gas Buddy doesn't list it as an available grade, but I noticed that some islands have it and some don't. The ones on the west end definitely do. :)

Generally all the Mavericks between Durango - Vegas have non-ethanol now. Blue hoses but not at all islands. The one in Monticello has it on the commercial truck island. Hoping the station under construction now in Durango carry’s it. Not that we are short on options but another is always nice.

Maverik at Pecos and 88th has always had ethanol free juice. FYI for all you northerly folks.

I wish there was somewhere in the city to get ethanol free. I commute between downtown Denver and downtown Englewood and haven’t found anything close to that route at all. It’s either head up to Pecos when I’m off work, or down to Littleton when I’m at work.

Folks with snowblowers or other carburetor engines that don't get used for a period of time - Do you find ethanol free really prevents carburetor from getting gummed up. Last year I used some fuel stabilizer and set reminders to run the engine for a ~5 min every month or so. Some close access to non-Ethanol gas certainly would be nice.

People really go nuts for ethanol free. Why do you guys like it? For me it's just expensive for no point? Lawn mower has always run fine.

Better performance and fuel mileage in my FJ62 with less pinging under load. In Kansas City, ethanol free 91 octane can be found at nearly every gas station for about two or three cents more than ethanolized. Here in Colorado it's considerably more and rare in the Denver area. :(

The Mobil station at 12410 W Alameda Pkwy, Lakewood, CO 80228 has eth-free 91. It's what I run in my motorcycle, slowblower, lawnmower, pressure washer, etc.

Often the tanks would swell so bad when you removed them for service you couldn't get them back on the bike. This was a huge issue that affected tens of thousands of bikes, so I went far out of my way to fill up with only ethanol free. I've also wondered if the evap issues and smell of fuel that affects the 100 and 200 at high altitudes and temps could be mitigated with ethanol free gas.

91 octane at my local Costco is currently $4.27gal. Just called the Mobil station you noted and they couldn’t tell me the cost but speculated it was around $5.50. As posted above ethanol free is a couple of cents more per gallon in KC but at least a dollar a gallon more here just sucks.

I'll drive by in a few and tell you what the price is. The station is like 30 seconds from my house.

Cool. 👍 Before heading to Utah I fill up with ethanol free at Hill Petroleum near W 58th Ave and Marshall Rd. Can then make it to the Sinclair station near City Market in Fruita where they have 91 ethanol free. The 3FE in my 62 has a milled head so ethanol free makes all the difference for happy motoring. When Robbie built the engine in 2004 ethanol free 93 octane was the norm at most stations with ethanol use being a seasonal thing. I could dial in 12* btdc timing and make it to the tunnels fully loaded in third gear when going to Moab. Not anymore.

I like it because it doesn't degrade the pre ethanol fuel lines in older vehicles as well - my boats carb had tiny black specks stuck to the needle valves. So to your point on messing up carbs, so true - in many ways!

I replaced the fuel lines with lines rated for ethanol but it was a pain.

My vehicles seem to get better range from my tank when I am in places like the Dakota's running ethanol free. Not sure if it's just because it's so flat or if it's that much more energy dense.

my evap system is shot in my 80. No issues with ethanol free. If I put ethanol in I experience the volcano on hot days when I remove the gas cap. Along with constant evap fumes while driving and parked.

I have a spare charcoal canister I plan to disassemble this summer and rebuild.

Several of the Sinclairs around here keep 91 e-free while the local Mavericks offer 87 octane e-free. I'm not super worried about it in the Taco but was pretty dedicated in the '91 since it preferred it and didn't want to deteriorate the soft plumbing. I think it's common around Mesa County because of the higher dirt bikes and ATVs per capita (and tourista).
