I have two of these: https://restop.com/product/restop-privacy-shelter/ and https://restop.com/product/restop-commode-five-rs1-ten-rs2/
I can bring a shelter and anyone else is welcome to carry the bucket. They have smell-proof screw tops. I use a rubbermaid tub on the roof when needed.
I havea roto-molded seat I prefer :coffee:
I have a cheap amazon shelter one that folds to a flat metal coil if you can make the springs go where they belong - easy when figured out but infuriating till then.
@On the RX Sounds like you have the ability to try before you buy on this trip. If you'd like, you can be in charge of set-up and take down of the privy shelter! :D Funny but sensible!

We (Marshé, 1 dog and myself) plan on leaving for the swell Thursday afternoon. No set time other than after her PT, so mid afternoon at the earliest incase anyone wants to caravan. Not sure where to point our nose other than west. Plan on filling the tank as close as possible to the meeting site (Moab?) And eat dinner in town as well as grab anything extra that we forgot plus ice.
Just thought of this... will we be anywhere that dogs are not allowed? We plan to have our 3 pound pup.

Wow I missed a bit of disco. . . . I haven't logged into this thread in a week or so.

When & where appropriate I do the dig, squat, burn, bury routine. But given that there's been so much talk about it, I'll invest in some poo powder, bucket, seat of some kind, and bags just in case.

I'd also like to caravan to the Swell Thursday. My work schedule this coming week will hopefully allow enough time to pack beforehand... worst case is I'll finish packing Thursday morning and early afternoon. Last minute packing is the best for overpacking, LOL! Please let me know when/where is good to meet to caravan. I'll likely make it no-problem!

Side note about fire. I checked with my neighbors and they're graciously letting me borrow their propane firepit again. It was nice to have on the other G&C. So there's that :D

Need to be back home early which means we'll probably duck out somewhere along the way Saturday morning to come home. The tentative plan is that she's taking Friday off. If so we'd meet whomever is traveling Thursday as you pass through GJ or at worst be not far behind you.

I'm thinking whoever wants to drive out together we could meet at one of the Dino lots around 12:30 and then pick up @DaveInDenver and gas up in JC on our way through. That is if our timing meshes. We plan to take a leisurely drive out to green river and get there with enough time to grab some dinner while we fuel up and grab any last provisions.

I am going to have to back out for the trip due to family coming in over the weekend. Would I be able to join just on Friday?

For sure. You are experienced and local and even just for the day would be fun! For safety just want to make sure someone is expecting you and so can go looking if anything should happen between when you leave us and when you get home. :D

"we" - Kristen is coming? OK then we'll let you join and leave early. Plus you are experienced and local.

Will work on the group message next.

Group message sent. PM me if you did not receive! We have 10 vehicles for all 3 days and 12 for one day so if you are itching to go, we can probably squeeze you in.

I have to back out, sorry for the late notice, I have to take the wife to the airport this weekend and will be watching the dog at the house. I would bring the dog along with but she's not a fan of bumpy car rides unfortunately. Please add someone on the wait list! Have fun!
