Too rich for my blood. I have expressed interest in a local example with a really nicely built 2F (and admittedly some rust to fix), but I'm still a little short on the funds. If the owner does not give up on me, we'll be keeping it in the family.

John,

You may want to check this one out if you haven't already. It needs some interior work in addition to the normal rust stuff that Zach thought was too much for him to undertake. No power brakes and 3 on the tree. It also has a dent in the rear gate (repairable) where PO backed into a tree. Seems to be in fairly decent mechanical shape (some work already done) for a 1970. Its actually located in a storage yard near E470 & Iliff. Its been on CL for sometime now, so I believe Larry is open to offers on this pig.

Thanks Dave, I have a CL widget looking for Piggies, and saw that ad. Tempting, but I need to not give up on the one that first got my pulse racing. I'm a monogamous luster. ;) But a guy can have a back up plan.

Zach, That's a beauty. What's the plan? :thumb:

At this point the rust repair :weld: is what I am concentrating on. The running gear seems to be in ok shape for now.

My dad said that you live near by and if you want to take a look, you're welcome to come by. Just send me a PM for directions. If not, we'll see you Wednesday at RS.

Zach, if you're going to be spending much time in those positions I will suggest you buy some knee pads. Your knees will thank you. Or maybe some rolling stools...

Good point Matt. I think my dad's got a pair of pads hanging around somewhere.
