When I used to have to travel down to the airport west of Pueblo back in the day for work, we would always find tarantulas crawling on the building in the summer time. And just to give you an idea of big those things are down there, when we were driving back from Pueblo I could see what looked like a big piece of a blown out truck tire in the middle of the road. When we got up to the piece in the road and drove over it, you could easily tell it was a tarantula about the size of a basketball and as soon as we drove over it, I looked back in the mirror and watched it crawl off to the side of the road.
