The four babies this morning snuggling on the couch.

After Ken's passing a few weeks ago, I've been able to reunite the pack and added another. He got Winnie, a Jack x Dachshund mix, to keep Daisy company. Daisy was so happy to be reunited with Scrappy & Pancho. The four of them are doing really good together. Winnie has some serious anxiety, and it mostly is coming out in her wanting to lick everything & groom everyone.
But the boys are accepting her crazy more and more every day. Lol! She's going to be a handful. But she's a sweet girl.

Leroy soaking up as much of the sunshine as he can. Not sure how he is comfortable enough to be sleeping soundly like that. And of course he is on the human bed and not the dog bed directly under him...

He is on the proper bed. That's how he's so comfortable. That inferior one is beneath him. Literally.

Funny, the "dog" bed under him is actually a twin sized mattress with a cover over it. It was bigger, cheaper, and more comfortable than the big dog beds we could find. This offers enough room for both pups to stretch out. But they still seem to prefer our bed.

Well he just got his “hair did” lol I spend more on my dogs hair appointments than my own haha but seriously it’s too much hair for me to deal with and his groomer is AMAZING!

Well the video I took last night of me "saving" Daisy from under my deck is to large to post here. I say saved, lightly... I tore apart my deck to get her out of a very small area she managed to stuff herself into, in 25⁰ weather, because she was hunting something under there. Initially I couldn't even tell if she was hurt, freaked out from being stuck, or just excited. Turns out, she was excited, and she sounded like a crying hyena! She was mad that I locked them in the house afterwards last night. And today she's protesting not having doggy door privileges. If only she understood hunting in single digit temps could hurt her. Good thing I wanted to tear that side of my deck out anyways... Ugh...
I wish y'all coulda heard those hyena sounds tho. Lol!!

They’ll be okay it’s really for their health anyways. They are both seniors and the tuxedo has gained two pounds to many recently. He’s spending to much time inside stuffing his face . We also had to switch to prescription food for the tabby, he at least loves it so that helps a lot. He’s needed more fiber in his diet. On the plus side the vet also wants to give them more wet food than dry and they are LOVING that. So not all bad.
