Who all is coming to the Expo and bringing their puppers?
Heads up to my Westie dog park goers. G-man and I just got back from our daily trip. Except today I was literally 1/2 a step short from stepping directly on a 12-16" baby rattler smack in the middle of the trail. Needless to say, there is one less snake at the park to worry about.
Think that was our last trip of the summer. Gyoza did great as I was ammo'ing up with rocks to go caveman on it. Think he knew it was bad-juju. There were 3-4 groups directly behind me that thanked me for my service.

My old Lab Molly I had years ago was snake trained (she was also a hunting dog and we lived in Texas) not sure they even do snake training out here for dogs?
Maybe time to find a new dog park for the rest of the season that isn’t so inhabited by wildlife?
I've had a number of people mention training, as well as a shot to extend the time you have to get to the vet.
Just not worth the risk to my baby boy. Can only turn a snake into so much of a pulp and said pulp isn't going to bring my dog back. And in this case, it was more than likely me that was going to get juiced.
I thought for sure what happened yesterday would never happen to me, I'll see a snake! Yeah, no.

Gyoza finally found his new baby sister. Pirozhki Belle House came home this afternoon. We played, we walked the fence line, and we already are learning our name.
