What is the status for Technician Class Exam?

There seemed to still be some question as to scheduling the examiners for testing next Monday. Is the exam still on?

I found a couple of other testing sites & times on the ARRL website, but would prefer to test with the rest of RS classmates.

Status, please...

I just read my PM from Ricardo that he has not had a reply from the SE VE team about Mar 3 test date yet.

I am slightly perturbed that with all of the lax-ing of the test requirements in order to get as many HAM's on the air as possible, there was not a better response from any of the VE teams we contacted. I figured when Brian started this idea that they would be more than thrilled to have an organized group ready to take the test on a scheduled date.

However the case may be, here are the earlies scheduled test dates by the local clubs and where they are giving the test.

The first year I gave the class, I organized one night to have as many of the 8 people in the class that could make it to meet at Front Range CC and take the test. I think we had 6 people make the test and all passed, one even got his general, IIRC. I would be up to doing this again, even as early as next weekend if need be.

Here is what we need walking in tonight:

A current Photo ID
A check for $14 made out to "ARRL"

Those who posted before the deadline are assured spots. If you signed up and are going to take the test some other time, please let me know.

Those who posted after, show up. If we can have everybody ready with checks and photo IDs, it is very likely that we will be able to accomodate everyone, but again, no guarantees.
