As suspected. Rear locker wouldn’t engage after day one on Rubicon. Super happy it didn’t break!

Got my AHC globes replaced. Was really easy compared to the internet talk imagine that! Drives so nice now, back to being silky smooth. Thanks @lxkup and @Inukshuk for hooking me up with some free AHC fluid!

I'm going to haul the old globes out somewhere and shoot them with a rifle I think...

Added a new LC to the stable. Upgraded DD for my fiance. Family vehicle, single owner, 89k on the clock.

Needs new tires due to some dry rot. Thinking of going to a 16 if anyone has any wheels for sale.

After Saturday's Red Cone Pass/Radical Hill run, I "fixed" my ignition switch and started to install a new head unit (complete with dash cam and rear view cam!)

Finally stabbed my replacement F engine into the 70 FJ40 yesterday and my buddy @SteveH stopped by for a chat. Now on to the tranny and transfer case install.

-Tossed 3” icon lift springs in the front this morning. And soon landtank caster plates. Ill do the rears once I track down a pair of ‘inside the spring bump stops’. (I chopped mine down for airbag helpers) Anyone?

-I also started working on the winch plate mount yesterday.

Rear axle love yesterday and today. Rear wheel bearing on the 4Runner. The first one kicked my butt. Swapped the bad one. I’ll get to the other later. Did this yesterday.
today I drilled out a broken stud on the rear hub of the 80. New studs and cones, but no new nuts.

Andy, if those lug nuts are tight the wheel studs are nowhere near long enough for that wheel.
