We had a very spooky time running Devil's Canyon on Saturday. Thanks for organizing and leading @Oh_shift Alex! It was great seeing you and Cooper again man.
Weather was very good until the sun went down and that spooky cold wind kicked up. And we took a wrong turn and ended up on a VERY spooky dead end. But alas, we got out of that in one piece and finished the loop in the waning light. We had a wonderful dinner by the light of the stars with propane firepits. Hot dogs nice and warm from the hot dogger on the 80 were just the ticket.
We had four trucks on the run with seven people total:
@Oh_shift Alex and Cooper in a 4Runner
@4RunnerJoe in a, you guessed it, 4Runner
@Old40Dog Dave in a, guessed it again, 40 Series and
@MountainGoat JoLene, Jaeden and myself in an 80 Series.
After dinner Alex, Cooper and Dave stayed and camped while the rest of us meandered off into the spooky darkness to go home. It was a great time as usual with some good Toyota folks as expected.
