BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): I have been very impressed with these so far and hope to push them more on group outings, various terrain, also testing longevity.

Got these tires in late November if I recall, I've always like Toyo and am on my 4th or 5th set of Open Country AT's on my Tundra (AT2 and now AT3). The R/T's are new to me but I was worried because they seem to be a more aggressive tread pattern. Hence, more road noise potentially and maybe not as great in the snow with bigger lugs blah blah.

Traction: Has been great in the snow. Hard snows, 285 with snow coverage, snow coverage on dirt roads...all fantastic. Great grip and no worries. Wet roads (snow melt) have been great to this point as well.
Road Noise: Negligible. The 4 Runner came with some Nitto Grapplers on it and damn, tough to have a convo with those things whining at speed. The Toyo's have been much better.
Capability (Air Down): Unknown
Longevity: Unknown
Price Point: Reasonable, forget what it was but maybe $1200 or so for all 4.
Appearance: Aggressive, badass

I might mount a set of these on the Tundra next. Great tires, Toyo's have been good to me.

I had a set of these on the 80 in a 315. I quite liked them as well. Low road noise, worked great offroad. I found them to be a perfect balance between a mud/trail oriented tire and an A/T. I put about 11k on mine and they showed negligable wear too which was a nice bonus.

In a bit of contrast, I actually thought they were pretty horrible in snow. I think in slushy type thick snow they'd be good but the few times I drove them in shoulder season before the snow tires, I wasn't impressed. Glad they are working well for you though! I too would recommend this tire!

Stan with 100s in the Hills has run several sets of RTs and swears by them. If I remember correctly, he said he never had a puncture with them while wheeling. He has done some extensive wheeling too. I really like Toyo tires.

The carcass of the tire for many Nitto and Toyo tire is the same with different tread patterns. I have been pretty happy with my new Toyo AT3s. They handle really well in the snow. This summer I am looking forward to wheeling them hard. The only issue I had with my AT2s was they chunked badly as the rubber got older and became harder. This was only an issue once they were maybe 4-5 years old. They wouldn't have lasted that long with most people though.
